Cody Simpson took home top honors for Internet Breakthrough Artist of the Year at an awards ceremony in Los Angeles, California recently.
Cody first received word from his record label a few weeks back letting him know that he was to receive this award; he couldn’t have been more excited about it being that it’s his first award. After the presentation Popstar Magazine caught up with the Internet sensation, Cody told them that he felt “great” and couldn’t believe how fast everything has happened. Young Cody then gives a little piece of advise to aspiring artist using the Internet to achieve there dreams. Cody tells these emerging artists to keep making YouTube videos and keep working hard towards achieving there dream! Hard work and dedication is what it’s all about.
Cody also told TODAY, “ ”It means so much, it’s my very first award and it will always be in my heart… This is all happening so fast and I’m grateful.”
